PepsiCo issued a recall for more than 25,000 cases of 13.7-ounce glass bottled Starbucks Frappuccino Vanilla drinks, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
The FDA said the company, which distributes bottled Starbucks coffee drinks, initiated the recall due to foreign glass objects found in the bottles.
While the products were not sold at Starbucks retail locations, they were distributed to retailers nationwide.
The affected products have sell-by dates of March 8, 2023; May 29, 2023; June 4, 2023; and June 10, 2023.
The company said it is working to remove the affected products from stores. It is directing consumers with questions to call the Consumer Relations department at 1-800-211-8307.
This is not the first issue PepsiCo has had with its Starbucks drinks.
The company also had to recall its Starbucks Vanilla Espresso Triple Shot Energy Coffee Beverage due to the possible presence of metal fragments in September 2022.
